Uses

Add to soups or salads, eat as porridge, risotto, or served as a side dish

Cooking Instructions: Rinse quinoa well through a sieve and move to a pot.  To 1 cup quinoa add 1 ¾ cups water. Bring to the boil, cover, reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to stand, covered, for 5 – 10 minutes.  Fluff it up with a fork.

Finish it off as you wish with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice, a sprinkle of salt and pepper, some minced garlic, herbs, seeds and nuts.
