The gluten-free range Entice Health Products™ is produced by Daisy Health Foods, a specialised South African food company whose core business is to develop, manufacture and market gluten-free foods for the health and lifestyle, wheat, gluten, soy and dairy sensitive markets.
Daisy Health Foods was formed in 2003 and very soon won Best Start-up Business award in the Enterprize Business Plan Competition – an initiative between the National Business Initiative and McKinsey & Company and sponsored by the Eskom Development Foundation. The DTI has also given assistance to grow over the years. We are always grateful for the assistance we have received, and like to pass it forward.
Since inception Daisy has supplied both the food industry and retail market with ingredients for baking wheat-free and gluten-free foods. Launching with Entice Self raising Rice Flour, the range has grown extensively into a large variety of specialised flours, bakery mixes, biscuits, rice milk powders, cereals and puffed grains for those who choose foods without wheat, dairy, soy products as well as vegan. All retail products are also available in bulk.
We are inspired by innovation, health and convenience and continue to create products that live up to the Healthy, Tasty Living™ feeling.
Our product development and marketing is spearheaded by CEO, Daniela Govetto, a food scientist many years’ experience in the milling and baking industry.
The factory is situated in Stormill, Roodepoort, South Africa. Entice Health Products are available at selected Spars, Dischem, online health stores and selected food outlets throughout South Africa. And now Entice is available directly to the consumer from the factory.
