It is an alkaline powder with many uses

• Ingredients: Bicarbonate of Soda
• Baking – a leavening agent that enables baked goods to rise, by reacting with an acid such as lemon juice, vinegar or crème of tartar, resulting in a fluffy texture.
• Mouth wash -1/2 tsp bicarb to ½ cup warm water, swish.
• Teeth whitener – can be used to brush teeth
• Laundry whitener – add ½ cup in addition to laundry detergent to keep whites from discolouring
• Cleaning – Make a paste with water and use to wipe down surfaces in kitchen and bathroom.
• Deodorise – Keep a cup full in the back of your fridge to remove odours
• Bathing – add 1 – 2 cups to your bath to relieve sore muscles and itchy sunburn
• Burnt Pot – cover the burn, add water to cover, and heat on the stove
• Keep away from moisture, keep dry
